The Pend Oreille Valley Railroad also handles forest products and is based out of Usk, Washington on ex-Milwaukee Road trackage. Plus ex-Great Northern Ry trackage from Newport, WA to a connection with the BNSF at Sandpoint, ID. This line travels along the scenic mountain valley of the Pend Oreille River.
