Lighthouses of Lake Michigan
Volume 1 - East Shore

See 29 historic Great Lakes Lighthouses along the scenic east shore of Lake Michigan. Starting at St. Joseph, Michigan, we'll travel nearly 300 miles to the northern tip of Lake Michigan at Mackinaw City and to the magnificent Mackinac Bridge. This program covers Pierhead Lights, Shoal Lights and the beautiful shoreline Lighthouses. We'll even visit inside a few lighthouse museums and climb to the top of light towers for a spectacular view of the big lake and shoreline. There's also three boat rides to visit Lake Michigan island lighthouses and to the treacherous Straits of Mackinac to see a few amazing shoal lights. Plus a brief look at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, old life saving stations, Holland Windmill Gardens, a sand dune ride, and a few ships.
