Missabe Rails

Features a system-wide look at the Duluth Missabe & Iron Range Railroad. Missabe Rails contains amazing train action from all across the famous Mesabi Iron Range in scenic Northeastern Minnesota and was shot in all four seasons! The exciting action includes: ore trains enroute to Proctor and Two Harbors, ore docks, ships, iron ore mines and crude ore trains, taconite processing plants, limestone runs, yard action, freight service, a passenger train and a few all rail trains of the C&NW, UP, WC and BN, plus the DW&P. DM&IR diesels include: SD9, SD18, SDM, SD38 and SD38-2. This action packed program was shot between 1988 and 1990 by Bradley A. Plets. This program was re-mastered and digitally enhanced in 2014.
