BNSF North Dakota Coal Line

Exciting train action along the rails of the BNSF's North Dakota coal line. You'll see various trains as they travel 373 miles across the scenic North Dakota landscape from Fargo to Beach. This former Northern Pacific line was known as the "Mainstreet of the Northwest" and many of their historic depots still survive. Video highlights include: massive Valley City Trestle, ex NP depot & grain elevators, unit coal and grain trains, scenic prairies and great plains, Missouri River Bridge built in 1998, mixed freight, intermodals & locals, spectacular national Badlands, colorful BNSF diesel power, and steep grade coal train pushers.
