This exciting video covers LS&I train action from the main yard and enginehouse at Eagle Mills to the Empire and Tilden Mines near Palmer, Michigan. This rustic rail line includes scenic rock cuts, steep grades, ore pits a short mine tunnel, and beautiful fall colors. The action includes both LS&I ore trains and freights featuring an interesting combination of trackside runbys's and cab rides. You also get a tour of the Tilden mine and processing plant. The LS&I powers their trains witn a fascinating roster of GE locomotives including models U30C & C30-7's.
