This Ex-Frisco route travels 149 miles from a connection with the BNSF at Monett, Missouri to Fort Smith, Arkansas. This fascinating rail line also features a 1,702 foot tunnel that’s tucked away in the Ozarks at Winslow. There's plenty of that great Alco sound and smoke as the A&M's 24 unit diesel roster features: T6, RS32, C424 & C420's. The system-wide Arkansas & Missouri train action includes: yard switching at Springdale and Fort Smith, locals working industries in the Springdale/Rogers Area, Fort Smith transfers to the UP at Van Buren, a tourist train and amazing road freights with up to 6 diesel lashups. Plus you'll also see the connecting railroads of the UP, BNSF & FSRR.
